[Music] this is horrible glasses upon glasses is not really a workable thing disclose your distressing defeat we had always fixed something in WordPress called attachment URLs so when you upload a file in WordPress it creates an attachment URL for it by default that's something that we disabled in WordPress and then in a release we did we undisabled it and suddenly all those attachment URLs were being indexed by search engines again so that was actually very bad for their SEO I still to this day don't know exactly what we did wrong I know we fixed it but I don't know where it went wrong when when we found out we had to do a lot of work to build a plugin that would actually Purge those URLs from the site and from Google's index you're not going to like what I'm saying build automated testing for everything you build so that every feature you build is automated automatically checked every single time
